Match Report...

TWAPS Sam’s – Match Results – 11th April 2021 – Points Match/Chairman’s Shield

Match number 1 at Sam’s Top Lake.

15 anglers fished our first match of the season today Sunday 11th of April 2021 at Sams Lakes.

I’d like to give a warm welcome to Dael to the TWAPS match group and congratulations on his 3rd place today and a welcome back to Mick Smith who returns to fishing our matches and gave a strong performance today.

The fishing was going to be hard especially after the nights sub zero temperatures but no one knew how hard it was going to be with only one carp caught by Jack Louth and a big perch caught by Jeff Buxton who nearly had another as well to add to his winning total. The majority of fish caught were roach, small perch and the odd skimmer with every fish hard won by all who fished.
