Match Report...

Today’s match result from Cottington lakes.

Very low turn out today with just 8 anglers braving the rain, fortunately it wasn’t as bad as had been forecast.

In first place weighing in 131lb 6oz was Terry Williamson almost all fish were caught in the margins on worm. In second place was Mick Smith weighing in 89lb 7oz also fishing the margins with meat, and 3rd was new member Jack Dean with 62lb 6oz caught on the feeder and long pole.

The next match is at Stones Fishery on May 13th. I won’t be able to make that match so looking for a volunteer to run things. If your prepared to run the match let me know ASAP and if you want to fish let me know by 9pm on Thursday 10th May. If anyone is looking to practice there’s an open match there every Saturday, £15 to enter and draw is at 8am.
