General Information

The hotel have recently imposed a more stringent procedure regarding parking at Campanile whilst fishing. With immediate effect the hotel require that if you wish to park at the hotel you must present both your TWAPS ID AND current Membership card at the hotel reception, together with the your vehicle registration number BEFORE starting fishing.

If you are staying longer than 24 hours, then you must present the same documents and information to the hotel’s reception once every 24 hours.

If you are being dropped off and collected in the hotel car park then it is up to you, as the TWAPS Member, to register present the above documents and information to the hotel reception.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your TWAPS ID and current Membership card, and your vehicle registration number are presented at the hotel reception. Failure to comply with any of the above may result in a fine being issued, for which you are responsible for paying, not TWAPS.


The Campanile Lake, adjacent to the Campanile Hotel on Crossways Business Park, Dartford was acquired by TWAPS in December 2015.

Members note that this fishery has some sprinklers installed, and that these sprinklers can come on at any time, even in the middle of the night, and you may get very wet! You have been warned.

Night fishing is allowed for one night only, except on the hotel bank. Bivvies are permitted but must be lowered during daylight hours, except in inclement weather.

Bailiffing duties will be done by both Crossways Wardens and authorised TWAPS bailiffs.

The maximum line strength allowed on this lake is 12lb.

Fishing is only permitted from designated swims.

Boilies are permitted in moderation and the general bait rules apply.

Strictly no litter. Please take it home with you or dispose of it properly.

This fishery is a mixed species venue and, as far as we know, currently contains carp to 26lb+, eels, tench, perch, pike and roach. More details are to follow.

Please report any catches to the Bailiffs or Committee members in order for a stocking policy to put in place. Alternatively, you can use the Contact Form. Your feedback is important.

Members can use Hotel’s toilets, bar and order refreshments. Clean footwear only please.

Members may park anywhere in the Hotel car park bays, but please park properly.

Parking is in the hotel car park in the marked bays only (ie. between the white lines). The hotel facilities are available to you, but no dirty footwear please.

Access to the lake from the car park is via footpaths only and not across grassed areas.

Maintenance

In August 2018 some of the swims at the Campanile fishery were rebuilt and tidied up, making the fishery safer and more accessible.

In May 2021 the double swim and 2 other swims on the hotel bank was restored and made available for use.
