TWAPS Emoji Quiz

Members! Why not have a go at our emoji quiz?  You could win a Tackle Box (Dartford) £50 tackle voucher!

Below there are several fishing related items represented by emojis all of which represent something related to fishing.

All you have to do is work out what fishing term, expression, tackle item, species etc. the emojis represent.

When you think you have worked out as many emoji items as you can, using the entry form below, simply write your answers in the appropriate boxes and then enter your name, email address and your current TWAPS membership number in the relevant boxes, then click/tap the Enter button.

Only current TWAPS Members can enter the quiz.  When entries are received, Members’ details will be checked and verified.

You can enter as many times as you like, but only your latest answers will be entered.  Any previous answers that you have submitted will be ignored.

Note: You may find some items are more difficult than others! (Hint: Some of the repeated emojis may not represent the same thing.)

Your details will be kept confidential (except for your name if you win) and will only be used for the purposes of this emoji quiz, and for nothing else. You will receive a confirmation email every time you enter.

The quiz will close at midnight on 31st January 2024, after which time any new entries will be ignored.  Shortly after this time, the answers will be published on this page.

The winner will be announced at the 2024 AGM and published on this page shortly after.  In the event of a tie, the winner will be drawn at random from all those entries that have the same most number of correct answers at the AGM.

If you have any questions, please use the contact form.  Please do not ask what the answers are!!

By submitting an entry you agree to the above terms.

Enjoy and good luck!

Dip tanks at the Inn on the Lake and Cobham

It is compulsory for you to use the dip tanks provided at both the Inn on the Lake and Cobham fisheries. Please use them to dip your landing nets, unhooking mats (and cradles etc.) and weigh slings upon arrival at the fishery and certainly BEFORE placing your nets in the water or when you start fishing.

If you are found not to have done this you will be asked to leave the fishery.

Repeat offenders may be subject to disciplinary action.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Paddock Wood Fishery – Fishing currently suspended

It is with regret that with immediate effect fishing at the Paddock Wood fishery is suspended until further notice.

This is due to the Committee being recently informed of a change of owners of the site and affects both the lake and the River Medway.

The Committee is currently in discussions with the new owners, and we will keep TWAPS Members updated.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
