Access to RFA Water Kenardington Bridge on the Royal Military Canal

As TWAPS is a member club of the Rother Fishery Association (RFA) – https://www.rotherfisheryassociation.org/ – TWAPS Members have access to fish various stretches of the River Rother and various sections of the Royal Military Canal.

On one of the canal stretches, Kenardington Bridge – https://www.rotherfisheryassociation.org/portfolio/royal-military-canal-kenardington-bridge-venue-11/ – access is controlled via a locked gate, for which anglers fishing this section will need a key and a key combination code. We have recently been given a key and the code and have several copies cut (with the RFA’s consent) that are now available to TWAPS Members.

Should you wish to fish this section of the Royal Military Canal for the first time you can purchase one of these keys (and the combination lock code) at cost price, currently £6.

If you would like one use the TWAPS website contact form – https://twaps.co.uk/contact/. Please give at least 24 hours notice.

You will need your current TWAPS Membership card and TWAPS ID before a key is issued to you, and as well as your name, you will need to provide your phone number and email address (in case the combination lock code is changed for example).

Payment by cash only please.

You do not need to return the key and you can use the same key every time you want to fish the Kenardington Bridge section of the canal. If however you lose your key and wish to have it replaced you will need to purchase a new one.

You will be notified, if you have purchased a key and continue to be a TWAPS Member, of any change to either the combination lock code or how to access to this particular stretch.
