Action on Cormorants

Useful Cormorant Information.

Here is some good information on cormorants and measures that can be taken to protect fish stocks.

Like many fisheries up and down the country, there have been sightings of cormorants on TWAPS waters, which could, potentially, severely damage fish stocks.

If you are concerned about this issue, you can take action by writing to your MP. You can find who your MP is, and his or her contact details here (opens in a new window).

Click this template (in Microsoft Word format) to download a template letter which you can use to send to your MP.

In the meantime, the Committee are currently taking advice on how to deal with this issue.

If you see any cormorants on any Society waters, please inform the Head Bailiff or Assistant Head Bailiff. The relevant telephone numbers are on the front of your membership card.
